Here we are, on the home stretch leading to the release of the new album! Recording is completed, mixing has begun, and plans are in motion to have the album in hand by year’s end. It’s been a long, costly, and rewarding process, and now, finally, we turn our attention to the next step: getting these new songs into your hands!

Which brings us to an exciting announcement:  Today marks the launch of our Kickstarter campaign for the album! To help us cover the costs of mixing, mastering, printing, etc, we’ve set up a crowdfunding site where you can contribute to the campaign in exchange for rewards, ranging from swag like T-shirts and trucker hats to custom covers and house concerts. Perhaps most importantly, Kickstarter offers you the quickest way to get your hands on the new music:  contributors will get the album first, before it will be available online or at shows.

And to entice you still further, as elements of the album creation process fall into place, we’ll be posting updates to the Kickstarter site. Photography, album design, even early clips of some of the new tunes… it’s gonna be a hub of activity for us for the next few months till the album drops.

So mosey on over to the crowdfunding page and peruse the rewards, and spread the word to anyone you think might enjoy the music. Email your friends, update your status, send a telegram, tattoo your face… ok, maybe don’t tattoo your face (or, hey, if you want), but let’s put the CROWD and the FUN in this CROWDFUND!
