We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been selected for an official showcase at the 2017 Folk Alliance International Conference in Kansas City, Missouri! We’re thrilled and honored to be selected to a group of artists that includes the likes of John McCutcheon, Sara Watkins, The Steel Wheels, Tift Merritt, and The Sea The Sea. We will also be joined in the frigid February Midwestern weather by some friends and fellow artists with whom we have previously shared a stage, including Flagship Romance, Front Country, and Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys. Our showcase is scheduled for Saturday night, Feb. 18 at 9:15pm in the Brookside room, lobby level of the Westin Crown Center Hotel.

The official showcase is an honor and an opportunity, but it’s the private showcases where the FUN happens. For those of you who have never been to Folk Alliance conference:  Imagine four floors of a hotel dedicated to after-hours music, with songwriter circles, up-and-coming showcases, and late-night jams every day of the conference. You can literally find yourself listening to Grammy-nominated artists with a dozen other people in a hotel room at 2am. I don’t need exclamation points to tell you how delightful that is. The Currys will be scheduling some private showcases ourselves, but we’re also just excited to be heading back to Kansas City to check out all the incredible folk/roots/country/rock music that’s being produced by all these talented people.
