The calendar turns, and a new year begins. This is gonna be an exciting year for The Currys as we release and support “This Side of the Glass.” By now, all Kickstarter supporters should have received your rewards, except for the cover songs and house concerts, which we are just now starting to work on. (Kickstarters, let us know if you’re missing your goodies!) For the album release tour we’re putting together a six-piece band, including Currys regulars Sebastian Green on drums and Sam Whedon on lead guitar, and bringing in Curry superfriend Alex Rees on keys. We’re really excited to start orchestrating and arranging the new album for the band, and putting together a new Currys show to take on the road this year.

Beyond that, it’ll be business as usual for The Currys. First up, we’ll be in Florida for the next two weeks before taking some time to rest and rehearse in late January and February for the album release tour beginning in March. Late spring will be festival season, the summer will see us traveling extensively, and by autumn we should be writing more and revisiting some of our favorite stomping grounds. Over the course of the next several months, we should be covering all of our usual territory; keep an eye out for us coming to your neighborhood. It’s gonna be an eventful year!
